NITEP Annual Meeting 2026 in Stockholm

The NITEP group held its annual meeting in Stockholm on January 9th, bringing together researchers and clinicians from across Northern Europe for a full day of scientific exchange, collaboration, and strategic planning.

This year’s meeting welcomed participants from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Estonia, with all participating countries represented. Marking a notable milestone for the network, the meeting also hosted its first-ever visiting participant from the United Kingdom, further strengthening NITEP’s growing international reach.

A central focus of the meeting was an in-depth discussion of ongoing multicentre research projects, many of which span several Nordic countries and address key clinical questions in orthopaedic trauma and musculoskeletal care. A highlight of the day was the premiere presentation of the DELTACON study results, which generated lively discussion and critical reflection on both clinical implications and future research directions.

The Stockholm meeting once again underscored NITEP’s role as a platform for high-quality, collaborative Nordic research, combining methodological rigor with a strong focus on clinically relevant questions. With new results presented, fresh ideas generated, and an expanding international network, the group looks ahead to another productive year of joint research efforts.
